Buddleja Davidii Extract (i.e. Summer Lilac or butterfly bush extract) is from a shrub of the Scrophulariaceae family native of Eastern Asia and widely grown in Europe (e.g. sometimes referred to as the Swiss Alpine butterfly bush) and often used as ornamental plant with scented flowers of white, pink, lilac or dark purple. The extract or meristem cell culture (i.e. undifferentiated botanical stem cells from the plant grown under controlled conditions) are rich in phenylethanoids, flavanoids, iridoids, and other antioxidant and nutrient activities. Buddleja (a.k.a. Buddleia) Davidii Extract is known for its wound healing, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and has been shown to have DNA protective and repair mechanism properties.
Centella Asiatica Meristem Cell Culture (i.e. Gotu Kola extract) is an extract or meristem cell culture (i.e. undifferentiated botanical stem cells from the plant grown under controlled conditions) that comes from the Mackinlayaceae family and contains robust antioxidant activities and promotes retention of hyaluronic acid. The caffeoulquinic acids and nitric oxide in the extract have been shown to control inflammation and blood vessel tone and permeability.
Echinacea Angustifolia Meristem Cell Culture (i.e. Coneflower extract) is an extract and meristem cell culture (i.e. undifferentiated botanical stem cells from the plant grown under controlled conditions) derived from the coneflower shown to stimulate collagen synthesis while preventing collagen degradation by inhibiting collagenase. Gardenia Jasminoides Meristem Cell Culture  (i.e. Cape-Jasmin extract) is an extract or meristem cell culture (i.e. undifferentiated botanical stem cells from the plant grown under controlled conditions) derived from cape-jasmine has been shown to promote collagen synthesis and reduce collagen degradation by MMP-1.
Leontopodium Alpinum Meristem Cell Culture (i.e. Edelweiss extract) is an extract or meristem cell culture (i.e. undifferentiated botanical stem cells from the plant grown under controlled conditions) derived from edelweiss has been shown to prevent loss of hydration and elasticity (hyaluronidase) and inhibit collagenase (i.e. collagen degradation).
Syringa Vulgaris Leaf Meristem Cell Culture (i.e. Lilac extract) is an an extract or meristem cell culture (i.e. undifferentiated botanical stem cells from the plant grown under controlled conditions) derived from the hardy Lilac shrub, known for its medicinal properties. Lilac extract contains verbascoside, a phylpropanoid that has an antimicrobial activity and anti-inflammatory properties. The extract has also been shown to produce a more even complexion by reducing melanocytes and effectively lower sebum production by interfering with 5a-redcutase.
Hyaluronic acid   i.e. sodium hyaluronate) is a powerful humectant that keeps the skin plump and hydrated. It is a naturally-occurring polysaccharide (i.e. carbohydrate) that can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Even though hyaluronic acid is a relatively large molecule, this moisture-enriching provides long-lasting moisture because it penetrates the dead cell layer (i.e. stratum corneum) and permeates the skin. Increased hydration leads to improved elasticity and can also reverse free radical damage. Hyalronic acid can promote microcirculation and nutrient absorption all of which contribute to smoother skin and a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles.
Niacinamide (i.e. Nicotinamide) is the amide form of nicotinic acid (a.k.a. vitamin B3 or niacin) shown to improve skin moisturization, improve appearance of aging skin, promote even-tone and reduce the appearance of acne.  Niacinimide has been shown to improve ceramide and fatty acid levels, stimulate fibroblast levels and collagen secretion, reduce melanosome activities and age spots, and improve acne due to its antimicrobial properties.
Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminobutyloyl Hydroxythreonine + Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminohydroxybutyrate are synthetic peptides of palmitic acid reacted with lysine, valine and either diaminobutyloyl hydroxythreonine (Palm-Lys-Val-Dab-Thr) or diaminohydroxybutyrate (Palm-Lys-Val-Dab), respectively.  They work synergistically to interact with key components of the dermal-epidermal junction (DEJ) by stimulating Laminin V; Collagens IV, VII, XVII; and Integrin B4.
